Build Executive Function, Confidence, and Clarity for School and Life
Our Cognitive Coaching program is a mediated learning experience.
The cognitive coach helps modify the learner’s brain and to take ownership over their learning and actions.
They become the advocates of their own education and take charge of their cognitive development.

Cognitive Coaching is a personalized, one-on-one program designed for anyone who needs support in their cognitive skills. It’s not just about grades. It’s about helping students:
Set meaningful goals
Stay focused and organized
Manage time and stress
Build confidence and resilience
This approach focuses on executive function skills (the mental tools students need to plan, prioritize, and follow through in both academics and daily life).
At Joy in Learning, we use something called Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment (FIE).
It’s a hands-on method that helps students become more aware of how they think, so they can learn more effectively and confidently.
Instead of focusing only on school subjects, FIE builds core thinking skills through guided activities. These include:
Problem-solving
Flexible thinking
Self-control
Planning and organization
The goal isn’t just to offer support. It’s to help students strengthen the mental tools they need to take charge of their learning and grow into confident, independent thinkers.
